History

Established in 1997  Juan Acevedo has been at the forefront of helping Chicagoans look their best for over 25 years. He learned his craft at the legendary Marshall Fields salon, where he quickly worked his way up to being the Senior Designer.

Then in 1997 Juan decided to apply his style and creativity to a venture of his own, starting Salon 29. After 13 years on Madison Street, he moved his business beginning of 2011 to the historic Garland Building on 111 N. Wabash Avenue (opposite Macy’s) into Suite 2016.

At Salon 29, clients can be assured that they will be in the hands of knowledgeable professional stylist all dedicated to bringing out the best in your personal style.
