I travel from Nashville every six to eight weeks to see Juan. Living in Nashville for 20 years, I’ve not found a hairstylist who can touch him—and I’ve looked. I don’t even tell Juan what I want. I just have a seat and ask him to do what’s best. I don’t care that it’s inconvenient—the best hairstylist is in Chicago. So I go to Chicago.

I’ve been coming to Salon29 to see Juan for nearly 10 years. He did cut my waist long hair into an amazing cut with highlights and I’ve been hooked ever since then. He has an amazing sense of what is best for your hair and style. His vision is always right on. I’ve recommended Juan to many of my friends and associates and all who have gone to see him have loved it!

I travel over an hour each way from Indiana to see Juan at Salon29. I have been a client for over 15 years. Juan knows exactly how to make my hair look great and he gives a professional guidance when I am not sure what I want. The salon is modern, sleek and inviting. I am always comfortable and treated just like family. My experience at Salon29 is always relaxing and I leave feeling extremely satisfied.

Salon 29 is definitely worth a visit. I’ve been there once because I wanted to have my hair permanently straightened, and I would go there again!! William was one of the friendliest, most talented and most patient hairdressers I’ve ever seen. And he was the only one who called me some days after my appointment to check if my hair was still okay 🙂 I can only recommend this salon!

Still going to Salon 29. Most people get bored with their hairdresser and switch after a length of time. 
Me? I’m from the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” school of thought. I’ve followed Juan to all his various places of employment and was thrilled when he opened up his own salon.

Back in my 20s when I had no money, I would forego food just so Juan could keep my carrot top, in tip-top shape. As it was the 80s, this usually meant a perm that would rival any of the 80s hair bands.
I still trust nobody else but Juan with my crimson tresses.

I’ve been going to Juan since I moved to Chicago in 1995. Every time I get my hair cut I look great and get a lot of insight on what’s going on in the city as well as lots of laughs. Juan hell of a haircut  – For years I got trims only when absolutely necessary. Even then, I often had my friends take care of it. Finally, after deciding it was time to update my look to a more professional/adult cut as I work in the loop, I came to Juan. Juan is so knowledgeable about all different types of hair and was able to give me a low maintenance style to stun me and impress my whole office. Now, I go exclusively to Juan to take care of my hair. He is wonderful!

I was referred to Juan by a friend when I moved to Chicago in 1995 and have been going to him since then. He is not only very experienced and knows his craft but is also straight forward and very fun. If you are looking for someone that will keep you looking your best, long or short hair, Juan is “the man”!
